Bio
Montana is the real deal in Blues and Jazz. From
the coffee shops of Amsterdam to the dark bars of New Orleans, Montana
has played for the most live of live venues. He also does private
engagements. From hip hop to country to jazz and blues, Montana
has made his music flow from one venue to another seamlessly.
Montana has been playing blues and jazz since
the 70’s, and has been in and out of the recording studio
as a session player during his career. He has played with international
greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dr. John, and Buddy Guy, and
also local legends such as Sam Gunderson and the Cactus Groove.
Montana usually works with a three-piece band,
but also does solo gigs for the jazz scenes, or Delta Blues venues.
His harmonica and guitar playing are legendary and second to none.
